We have over 8 million users all over the world who have logged over 6 million catches in our app. We’re growing fast, both in our social network and in the company, which is why we’re looking for an E-commerce manager to develop and carry out the strategic online sales marketing plans for Fishbrain’s marketplace. 

As e-commerce manager for our Marketplace you will drive Fishbrain’s online business at existing & new retailers keeping Fishbrain at the cutting edge of Digital and e-Commerce. As a member of the Product team, you’ll merge technology and design into one seamless and relevant user experience. In this role you’ll go deep on UX, engagement, retention, and delivering user and customer value. You value qualitative and quantitative research equally, and know when is the best time to apply each. You’ll work in a cross-functional team, collaborate with our other Product Owners, and report to the Chief Product Officer.

Your general duties will include sales, design, market research, budgeting, interviewing and training new recruits, supervising the e-commerce division, and presenting project ideas on expanding the business to management.

The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for determining the format and features of the marketplace in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers.  You will keep abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world, and also research the company’s core demographics and how to best reach them, in order to maximize reach and conversion.

What you will do:

  • Work on developing a world class customer experience to deliver beyond expectations
  • Evaluate data to identify what’s working and what’s not
  • Drive sales on our marketplace and making our business grow.
  • Manage and set the commercial plan for our Marketplace.
  • Be a stakeholder for future development both on the web and in-app sales
  • You will follow the complete user journey and analysis of user funnels.
  • You will convert user behavior into conversion/leads/sales optimisation. 
  • Work closely with our online partners and support them throughout the season 
  • Prioritize team projects and development based on user value, impact, and company goals - and continually communicate your prioritization within your team and the company.


    Your responsibilities:

    • Overseeing Design and Developments of Market Place
    • Monitor traffic analytics and internal data sources
    • Design and Execute Roadmaps
    • Incorporate Best Practices
    • Budget Effectively
    • Supervise all activities and product development
    • Work closely with development and product teams
    • Prepare reports and analyze conversion numbers
    • Team Management and Progress Monitoring
    • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Developing Schedules and Timescales

    Your skills:

    • You have a minimum of 5 years experience from e-commerce and/or digital marketing
    • You have previously held the position as an e-commerce manager with a proven track record
    • You have a commercial business interest and possess a start-up mindset.
    • You are firm in data-analysis and number crunching for financial analysis.
    • You are able to work towards long and short-term goals.
    • You are fluent in English.Outstanding analytical skills with high attention to detail
    • Outstanding skills in Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics and Microsoft Excel
    • You embrace ambitious goals and strategically set the plan to achieve them
    • You are curious and stay up-to-date with digital marketing and current trends
    • You like digging into data and make your decisions based on a combination of data and intuition
    • You thrive with high levels of responsibility and enjoy a fast-paced and dynamic working environment
