Are you ready to make an impact for the world's most popular hobby, pushing the boundaries of engagement for anglers?
As a Product Director Social in our Core domain, you will be at the center of making our engagement and social flywheel spin. Meaning how to design the social user journey part in our App. You will be a key player in driving the continued success of Fishbrain and develop our product practices beyond our 15 million members.
You will lead the social experience work, with the mission to grow App engagement and lifetime value by creating a lasting, relevant, and qualitative community experience that supports solving angler problems.

Overall responsibilities
Define the community product strategy in line with the overall business strategy
Lead the cross-functional product development team towards its mission and goals
Deliver, follow up and continuous development of our roadmap
Oversee the development of social, engagement and community initiatives in our apps.
Create engagement loops and build out lifecycle customer journeys. This includes components such as onboarding, social feeds, notifications, recommendations, vertical user experiences, UGC etc.
Discover and define engagement drivers in the app across the whole customer journey in line with the company’s objectives and community strategy. This includes components such as onboarding, social feeds, notifications, recommendations, vertical user experiences, UGC etc
Detail product requirements and measurable objectives and oversee the development of the social engagement roadmap
Predict and continuously analyze business impact of deliveries such as MAU, DAU, contribution, frequency, progression based metrics and define continuous improvements
Be an active leader to develop product best practises and ways of working in the organization
Maintain a strong understanding of the user needs, industry trends and competitor landscape (focus US market)
Profile
Excellent stakeholder management skills and collaborative mindset with experience working with multiple stakeholders
A passionate product and user evangelist, with strong interest in product design
Attention to detail and quality
Proactive and taking ownership of area and results on senior level
Excellent analytical as well as communication skills
Experience
5+ years of experience as Product Manager, Product Owner, Product Director or comparable roles
3+ years experiences working with social community/social network or similar areas
Demonstrated experience in growing the usage and lifetime value of consumer apps and/or digital consumer services
Demonstrated experience in building engagement loops and lifecycle journeys from first impression to continuous engagement
Experience of product development best practices with an user centric approach
Experience of working in a cross functional setting with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment
Solid knowledge of UX and product design is meriting
