Albrey holds a B.S. from the University of Florida, and a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. He has worked as a research scientist on the Kissimmee River Restoration Project (largest river restoration project in the world); an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama; and as the Science Director at the Perry Institute for Marine Science, one of six national undersea research centers. Most recently, he co-founded Fish Rules, LLC and created Fish Rules App to help anglers understand fishing regulations. Today, he serves as Director of Outreach and Agency Partnerships for Fishbrain, the world’s most popular mobile app, social network, and social commerce platform for people who love fishing. Albrey has authored 55 peer-reviewed publications dealing with a diverse array of environmental issues and is passionate about improving the sustainability of our fisheries.
